Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FileFlip ("Service"), operated by FileFlip ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FileFlip provides online file conversion tools (PDF, images, video, audio) available via web browser and desktop application. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

3. User Accounts

Some features require account creation via third-party authentication (Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activities under it.

4. Acceptable Use

• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Upload illegal content including but not limited to child exploitation material, content that violates intellectual property rights, or material prohibited by applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the Service infrastructure
• Use the Service for automated bulk processing without prior written consent
• Circumvent any rate limits, access controls, or security measures
• Use the Service to infringe upon the rights of others
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

We reserve the right to terminate accounts and report illegal activity to law enforcement without prior notice.

5. File Handling & Data Processing

• Uploaded files are processed on our servers solely for the purpose of conversion
• Free tier files are automatically deleted within 1 hour of processing
• We do not read, analyze, sell, or share the content of your files for any purpose other than the requested conversion
• We utilize third-party infrastructure providers for hosting and processing
• While we implement reasonable security measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security of files during upload, processing, or download

6. Intellectual Property

• You retain all rights to files you upload
• You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to upload and convert any files you submit
• You grant us a limited, temporary license to process your files solely for providing the conversion service
• The FileFlip brand, logo, and application code are our intellectual property

7. Paid Plans & Billing

• Paid subscriptions are billed through LemonSqueezy, our payment processor
• Plans renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date
• Refunds are handled per our payment processor's refund policy
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers

8. Limitation of Liability

• The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We are NOT liable for any data loss, file corruption, conversion errors, or damages arising from use of the Service
• We are NOT liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FileFlip, its operators, affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services (Google Authentication, LemonSqueezy). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction where the Service operator is located.
